Back on the farm – Day 3! We started out the day in Knoxville to take some home drone pictures for Tom & Pat. It’s so much fun to get a chance to fly and to spend some time with them. Saw some pelicans flying high on the way out to the farm and checked on Dad’s oak tree. Beck and I spent the rest of the morning doing some mowing and trimming.
We worked on the machine shed after lunch. There were a number of boards that have broken off over the years and we finally took the time to do a cosmetic fix. These boards were reused by my grandpa in the 1940’s to build this machine shed so these boards are probably over 90 years old and definitely have dry rot.
More trimming and added some deck screws to some loose boards. I had more loose boards than screws. Oh, well…
