We’re back on the farm for the 4th! Enjoyed talking to Bill who has his cattle on the farm from May through November. It’s great looking out and seeing them grazing. Donal and Lee came over to see the farm in person. Really enjoyed showing them around and sharing some stories.
I have a new technology toy to use on the farm! I have a drone to be able to take pictures and videos – it was my Father’s Day gift from Beck. Today was my first real test and I was able to do a flight in the morning and afternoon. I’ve tried to upload the video, but something didn’t work. Will try to do it again once I get this post up.
We got a new belt on the riding mower so I was able to do some trim mowing out by the bean field. While I was slaving away mowing, Beck started taking down the ceiling in west side of the chicken/farrowing house. It was a dirty job. Will try to upload the video after a bit.
We both worked on the east side after lunch and got it all down. It was a mess. Clean-up will begin in the morning.
