Branches

It’s the official start of the 2022 farm season! The team is down 50% today because Beck and a college friend headed north to Duluth for a couple of days of sightseeing.

Picking up where we left off. Beck and I cut down 6 or 7 elm trees in December and just let everything lay where it landed. I plugged in the block heater on the tractor thinking I could get it going after lunch so I could use the trailer to load the branches. It’s a little cold blooded and even with a jump from my truck, it just didn’t feel the need to start today. I spent the day cutting up branches and piling them over the fence so it will be an easy load on the trailer or truck to the burn pile. Weather looks wet for Wednesday.
